Learn a Lot from a Jerusalem Tour Guide
Visiting Jerusalem and seeing the Old City is an experience you won't soon forget. It offers stunning views and lots of excitement. When you choose to tour Jerusalem with me, here's what you can expect to see on our trip together.
Our tour will start at the Jaffa Gate. This is one of seven main open gates that lead into the Old City. It is also a favorite spot to take photos with your group. After a brief introduction from your Jerusalem tour guide, we will walk through the Armenian Quarter. During this walk we will visit Dormizio Church, the room of the Last Supper, and David's tomb.
Next, we will walk through Zion Gate to enter the Old City. We will visit the Jewish Quarter, the Cardo, the excavation of the King Hezekiah wall, and the menorah at the Menorah Square.
Then we will find ourselves on a terrace viewing the western wall of the Old City. This is another great spot for photos as it offers stunning overhead views of the Old City. If possible, we will visit Temple Mountain.
To finish our tour, we will head to the Via Dolorosa which ends at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. We will go back through the Old City market to the David Citadel and visit Emanuel Church. Finally, we will arrive back at Jaffa Gate where we started.
All along the way you will receive personal insight into the history of the places we are seeing. You are welcome to stop and take photos at any time, and in fact, it's highly encouraged!
Please do not hesitate to reach out to me via email if you have questions about booking your tour. I would love to be your Jerusalem tour guide!
